Sloppywood is a collection of indy movie theaters that monetize films the old fashion way (tickets), but done on-chain via burn-to-mint token mechanics.
First, a filmmakers uploads their initial film file and poster image to mint a Theater NFT.
Then, to 'open to the public,' the Theater deploys its XXXXXSLOP token, which mints 1000 tokens, sent to Uniswap for trading.
Users burn XXXXXSLOP tokens to mint Ticket NFTs (1:1) with metadata that holds watch-access and airdrop rights.
XXXXXSLOP Airdrop Trigger: when 50% of supply has been burned to mint Tickets, 3x new tokens are auto-minted & airdropped to the community for broader distribution.
Airdrops reset XXXXXSLOP supply and thus set a new 50% burn target, so the cycle can play out infinitely based on viewer demand for theater media, until the project loses steam & the liquidity holders exit.
